The Annual Downtown Christmas Parade will be held Fri., Dec. 3, 2021 at 6 p.m. rain or shine.
The parade begins at Fourth and H Streets and ends at the Henry Miller Plaza where the Christmas Tree will be lit and the parade awards will be presented.
The parade is a night parade and those entering the parade are encourage to attach lights to their entries. There is no fee to enter to be in the parade. Parade applications are available at the Los Banos Chamber office, 932 Sixth St. or by calling the Michelle Sandoval at (209) 826-2495. Deadline for submitting an application is Nov. 29.
The parade theme this year is, “Rocking Around A Community Strong Christmas.” Special thanks to the co-sponsors of the parade Paul & Brooks Llanez and Whitehurst Funeral Chapel celebrating 100 years in business for making the parade possible.
The parade judging stand will be at Sixth and J streets. Announcers of the parade can be heard from three locations: Fourth and J St., Sixth and J St. and Sith and H St.
Following the parade, a Christmas Tree lighting ceremony will take place along with the presentations of the parade awards. There are 1o parade award categories.
